What are the responsibilities and job description for the X-ray/Flouro Technician position at Compton Chiropra?
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and properly position patients to obtain high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring proper radiation safety practices at all times.
- Verify patient information, review imaging requests, and maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of imaging rooms and radiology equipment.
- Follow all radiation safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare staff regarding imaging procedures and results workflow.
- Provide patients with clear instructions before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- Assist with patient flow and ensure timely completion of imaging studies.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
