Job Title: Telecommunications Network Engineer, Senior
Location: Remote May require coming onsite to DLA Mechanicsburg, PA and DLA Columbus, OH

Overview
CompTech is seeking a qualified Telecommunications Network Engineer, Senior. This position is in support of DLA Network Operations (NetOps) Engineering Support Services Task Order (TO) on which we are bidding. Any offer will be contingent on TO Award.
Scope of Work
Basic Level:
Requires experience in telecommunications network design and management. Must be capable of working independently or with minimal direction on moderately complex requirements involving analysis, planning, programming, and implementation. Possesses experience in analyzing and designing voice networks, LAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems supporting voice and data services. Responsibilities include analyzing and developing telecommunications networks that support voice, data, video, and wireless capabilities; creating designs and installation/maintenance plans from project inception through completion; defining problems and developing system requirements and network specifications; and collaborating closely with other IT professionals to ensure proper implementation. Works with functional users to formulate alternative solutions and develop contingency plans.
Senior Level:
In addition to the above, includes all Basic Level competencies, with additional experience supporting complex applications involving full lifecycle telecommunications network design, implementation, and analysis. Demonstrated experience managing these activities, including evaluating and estimating costs for carrier-provided voice and data LAN services, designing access and backbone networks using carrier services, and overseeing analysis and design of wireless voice or data networks. Provides technical and administrative leadership for staff engaged in network design, implementation, and operations. Reviews work products for accuracy, compliance with design concepts and user standards, and schedule adherence. When necessary, make recommendations for approval of major network installations. Prepares milestone reports and delivers presentations on network progress to stakeholders, colleagues, and end-user representatives.
Minimum Requirements
Five (5) years relevant experience
· Top Secret Clearance
· IA Level: IAT-II
· Computing Environment: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Wireless Professional (CCWP), or other relevant Telecommunication Engineer Senior Cisco certifications
