What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manual Machinist position at COMPROBE, LLC.?
This is not a CNC operator position. We need somebody that actually knows how to machine parts manually from start to finish and can run mills, lathes, and whatever else it takes to get the job done.
We build downhole wireline tools for the oilfield. We’re a smaller family-run shop. You’ll work with down-to-earth people who enjoy their jobs and shop atmosphere. The best part, every day is different at Comprobe. You'll machine different parts all the time instead of making the same thing over and over.

Qualifications:
➡️Can read prints
➡️Hold tolerances
➡️Knows their way around manual machines
➡️Can use micrometers/calipers without guessing
➡️Can cut internal/external v-threads and stub acme threads
