Job Overview
Comprehensive Women’s Health is seeking a driven physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team! Our primary care practice has been a vibrant leader in internal medicine and women’s health services in Montgomery and Prince Georges County since 2007. We are looking for a strong, full-time candidate to provide high quality patient care in our Silver Spring office. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality, patient-centered services by performing physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment plans. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, utilizing advanced clinical skills and cutting-edge technology to improve health outcomes.
Duties
- Independent diagnosis and management of acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses
- Perform appropriate physical exams, including complete physical exams and well woman exams
- Order diagnostic tests as appropriate and interpret results
- Prescribe medications
- Develop and implement care plans
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physicians and/or specialists regarding patient care
- Participate in value-based quality initiatives
Skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems (eClinicalWorks is a plus) for documentation and data management
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (ICD-10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote patient assessments and health coaching services
- Ability to perform physical examinations and diagnostic assessments for male and female-identifying patients, aged 16 and up.
