Our primary care practice has been a vibrant leader in internal medicine and women’s health services in Montgomery and Prince Georges County since 2007. We are looking for a strong, full-time candidate to provide high quality patient care in our Glenn Dale and Silver Spring offices. An ideal candidate would split this full-time position between offices, with a consistent, predictable schedule.

Responsibilities include:
- Independent diagnosis and management of acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses
- Perform appropriate physical exams, including complete physical exams and well woman exams
- Order diagnostic tests as appropriate and interpret results
- Prescribe medications
- Develop and implement care plans
- Provide thorough patient education regarding their conditions
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physicians and/or specialists regarding patient care
- Masters Degree and current PA certification (will consider a strong new grad)
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to establish rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus.
