What are the responsibilities and job description for the Right-to-Know Field Technician position at Comprehensive Safety Compliance, Inc.?
Primary Purpose of Position:
- Perform on-site hazardous chemical inventories and collect material usage data.
- Enter and scan technical data into our proprietary database.
- Search websites and contact manufacturers/suppliers for Safety Data Sheets (SDS) or other product information.
- Interact with customers via phone and email.
Additional Requirements:
- Majority of time spent in our office, Monday through Friday.
- Willing to travel to various client locations, sometimes with out of town and overnight stays (generally, but not always, less than a week).
- Driver's license, use of personal vehicle (travel reimbursements, including mileage, in accordance with company policies).
Skills and Competencies:
- Entry Level – Degree not required, but Safety or Environmental experience or Associate’s Degree is a plus.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills, ability to work independently and attention to detail are extremely important.
- Ability to assist other internal divisions is a plus.
- Ability to stoop, bend, reach, twist and turn and stand for up to 12 hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
