Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Work Comp Claims Adjuster. The Work Comp Claims Adjuster will manage assigned workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution while ensuring compliance with company standards and state regulations. Day-to-day tasks include investigating claims, evaluating coverage, determining liability, negotiating settlements, and coordinating with various stakeholders such as employers, medical professionals, and legal representatives. Maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service are also key components of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Claims Handling, Claims Management, and Insurance Claims processes
- Thorough understanding of Insurance principles and Property Damage evaluation
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in using claims management software and related tools
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Prior experience in workers' compensation claims is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment
