Only PST People's -- No OPT/CPT/H4EAD Job Title: Salesforce Data Migration Specialist Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Migration Specialist to lead and execute end-to-end data migration initiatives across multiple Salesforce clouds, including Sales, CPQ, and Service. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in complex data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation, with strong SQL skills and hands-on experience using Salesforce APIs and ETL tools. Key Responsibilities Data Migration & Execution Design, develop, and implement data migration strategies for multi-cloud Salesforce environments (Sales, CPQ, Service, etc.). Extract, analyze, transform, and cleanse large datasets from legacy systems and existing Salesforce orgs using advanced SQL. Map, stage, and load data into target Salesforce orgs using Salesforce APIs (Bulk, REST, SOAP) and ETL tools such as SnapLogic, Data Loader, or equivalent. Perform data migration across key Salesforce objects, including but not limited to: Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Quotes, Orders, Assets, Subscriptions, Entitlements, Cases, and related junction objects. Collaboration & Alignment Work closely with solution architects, developers, and functional teams to ensure alignment between source data, target data models, and migration logic. Support design sessions to validate data relationships, transformation rules, and migration best practices. Validation & Quality Assurance Conduct detailed data reconciliation, exception handling, and post-migration validation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and data integrity. Troubleshoot migration issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Documentation & Governance Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including data mapping sheets, migration scripts, and execution logs. Ensure all migration processes are repeatable, auditable, and compliant with internal governance standards. Required Skills & Qualifications 8 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce data migration projects. Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation. Experience with Salesforce APIs (Bulk, REST, SOAP) and ETL tools such as SnapLogic, Data Loader, or similar. Solid understanding of Salesforce data model across Sales, CPQ, and Service clouds.
