What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Greet every customer and deliver outstanding pet-focused customer service.
- Assist shoppers in finding pet treats, food, and accessories.
- Drive sales through engagement, upselling, and product knowledge.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions; reconcile cash drawer at close.
- Maintain store appearance — cleaning, stocking, and merchandising.
- Receive and process weekly inventory shipments (lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Support in-store events from prep to breakdown.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
- Work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including at least 1 weekend day.
Qualifications
- Retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred (especially in pet retail).
- Passion for animals and willingness to learn about pet products.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
