Position Summary
The Patient Services Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and families, playing a critical role in delivering a positive, organized, and compassionate healthcare experience. This position blends front-desk operations, patient support, scheduling, insurance intake, and administrative coordination within a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting.

What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and empathy, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage front-desk operations including patient check-in, scheduling, phone support, and appointment coordination
- Collect and accurately enter patient demographic, insurance, and identification information into the Patient Management System
- Explain financial responsibility, enrollment documentation, and consent forms in a clear and compassionate manner
- Obtain and maintain compliance documentation including HIPAA forms and Supplier Standards
- Coordinate with clinicians, referral sources, and internal teams to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming clinic environment
- Support general administrative tasks such as data entry, billing support, document management, and scanning
- Serve as a patient advocate by answering questions and ensuring patients feel informed and supported throughout their visit
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years of experience in a customer service, healthcare, medical office, or administrative support role preferred
- Experience with patient intake, scheduling, front-desk operations, or medical office workflows is a plus
- Familiarity with insurance verification, medical terminology, and healthcare documentation preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based clinical environment
- Comfort using computers, office equipment, and electronic health record or patient management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required for clinic operations
- Authorization to work in the United States
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay from $18.00 - $19.00 adjusted based on experience.
