The Pay Range For This Role Is

Essential Functions*:
- Provide patient care in orthotic soft goods.
- Evaluate selected orthotic needs of patients.
- Measure, fit and adjust devices.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation of patient care provided.
- Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
- Subject to limitations imposed by state and/or local law.
- Provide patient follow-up for selected patients.
- Perform ordering and receiving and other inventory tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations; compliance with Medicare and other governmental regulations; compliance with bloodborne and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
- Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Hand skills are necessary to use laboratory tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of biomechanical principles.
- Knowledge of sewing techniques.
- Good interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills for reporting information to patients and staff.
- Ability to discern individual needs of the patient.
- Effective organizational skills and ability to prioritize and plan for the purpose of meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently throughout the course of a workday/shift; must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone.
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a workday/shift.
- Visual acuity (near and distant) is sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction.
- Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
- Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility.
- Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for treatment.
- Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.
- Associates degree required
