Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.
EXPERIENCED Medical Assistant
Comprehensive Pain & Neurology Center, an established and growing multi-specialty neurology practice staffed by board certified and fellowship trained physicians, behavioral health professionals, and advanced practitioners is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Enters patient’s information into EMR
- Verifies all patient medications
- Assists provider and has patient roomed and ready for provider encounter
- Triage, taking vitals, setting up for injections
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Responds to telephone encounters within 24 hours of call
- Submit for medication Prior Authorizations
- Coordinate between clinic and pharmacies
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Great attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast paced clinic
- Must be willing to work hard and have a professional demeanor
- Ideal candidate is a quick learner possessing superior customer service and patient care skills
- HIPAA compliance knowledge is required
- Must be a team player
Preference given to candidates with eClinicalWorks experience

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
