Position: Optometrist

Locations: Wilkes-Barre, Kulpmont, Minersville, Lewistown, PA (choose your service area)

Schedule: 1-5 days per month (average 1x per month per location)

Compensation: $800 per visit & mileage reimbursement

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

About The Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care at any of our four outpatient clinics in Wilkes-Barre, Kulpmont, Minersville, and Lewistown, PA.

This is a clinic-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations.

We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing and logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care.

What You’ll Do

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active Pennsylvania optometry license
• Experience treating senior populations preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments
  
  

Schedule

• 1-5 visits per month (flexible)
• Typical hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm
• No nights
• No weekends
