What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision evaluations
- Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Educate patients and facility staff on preventive and routine eye care
- Deliver warm, respectful care tailored to geriatric populations
- Low frequency: Just 1–2 visits per month
- Work-life balance: Predictable weekday schedule (approx. 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- High-impact care: Serve seniors and vulnerable populations who often lack access
- Independent contractor: Keep your autonomy without administrative burdens
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) with active New Mexico license
- Experience with geriatric populations or mobile care a plus
- Strong communication and bedside manner
- Ability to work independently with confidence and compassion
