Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental exams, cleanings, extractions, and restorative procedures.
- Diagnose and manage oral health conditions commonly seen in geriatric patients.
- Educate patients and facility staff on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety in a mobile or facility-based care setting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold CMC’s high standards of care.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).
- Active dental license in New Mexico.
- Experience with geriatric or mobile dentistry is preferred.
- Strong communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a variety of facility environments.
- Schedule: 1–4 visits per month, or as assigned
- Preferred Availability: Weekdays, Monday-Friday
- Typical Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Coverage Areas Include: Nursing homes and Veteran homes, with some assisted living facilities in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Rio Rancho, Casa Blanca, Grants, Las Cruces, Santa Clara, and Truth or Consequences.
- Commitment: 1–4 days per month, depending on your availability.
