Over Time: As needed based on production support (This position is eligible for extra time compensation)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling both shipping and receiving of trucks and materials supporting the import operations, and when required, export operations for volume spikes
- Provide direction to all dock personnel, along with drivers
- Coordinate the production and shipping requirements with the Operations Supervisor to ensure there is no delay or missed shipments to the customer
- Manage the cycle count process to ensure 100% compliance, and will participate in all 4-wall inventory as necessary or required by our customer
- Maintain performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, morale, and environment
- Liaison with customer and supplier as required
- Materials and Logistics background
- Warehouse experience preferred
- 5 years leading/directing hourly personnel
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Ability to train others on processes and procedures
- Lean manufacturing experience desirable
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
