POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a target account list of automotive OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, and industrial manufacturers using AXVOR's/Comprehensive Logistics defined engagement sources: market visibility, intent data, referrals, conferences & events, inbound leads, industry education, thought leadership, and trigger-event marketing (a plant launch, a program award, a capacity crunch, a change in 3PL or staffing provider).
- Prospect and qualify net-new accounts through the Account Engagement Pipeline: Target Identified → Outreach Initiated → Active Conversation → Qualified for Opportunity — moving disqualified accounts to nurture rather than letting them go stale.
- Vet and enrich every account and contact you create in HubSpot via LinkedIn and Apollo before it counts as sales-ready.
- Organize and lead the internal kickoff meeting for opportunities that pass qualification, bringing in Engineering, Operations, and Pricing as needed, and own the opportunity research (company, contacts, value proposition) that the kickoff runs on.
- Develop and manage the client Q&A / technical questionnaire process that bridges discovery to proposal.
- 5–10 years of B2B business development or sales experience specifically in Inbound-to-Manufacturing (I2M) services, contract logistics, or outsourced warehousing/sequencing solutions for automotive or industrial manufacturers — this is domain-specific experience, not general B2B sales.
- Own the proposal process end to end — assembling the proposal with Pricing/Costing input, attaching it to the HubSpot Deal record, and submitting it via tracked HubSpot email.
- Working proficiency with a CRM platform (HubSpot strongly preferred) and prospecting/enrichment tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or equivalent).
- A demonstrated track record of building pipeline from self-sourced prospecting into automotive OEM/Tier 1/Tier 2 or industrial manufacturing accounts — not just working leads someone else generated.
- Experience selling multi-service solutions (contract logistics transportation staffing) rather than a single service line
