CST Team Lead/Adult Mental Health Therapist

Position Summary: The Community Support Team Lead/Adult Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing clinical supervision to the CST team, providing therapy for individuals served by the team, and monitoring, tracking, and ensuring all clinical documentation is updated and completed in a timely manner.

Entry Requirements:

• One year of experience with the target population and
• Master’s Degree in Human Service Field with 1-year post-graduate experience as a licensed professional (provisional or fully licensed LCSW/LCWA, LCMHC/LCMHCA, LMFT/LMFTA, LCAS/LCASA, if substance abuse CSAC) and
• No substantiated findings of abuse or neglect are listed on the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry or Central Registry

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides therapy for individuals (and families, as appropriate)
• Provides behavioral interventions such as modeling, behavior modification, behavior rehearsal
• Facilitates psychoeducation for team members on a rotating schedule, as designated by clinical supervisor
• Provides clinical expertise and guidance to the CST members in the team’s interventions with the individual
• Provides the clinical supervision of all members of the team for the provision of this service. An individual supervision plan is required for all CST members except the Team Lead
• Maintains caseload of approximately 25 consumers and provides a minimum of 1 session per consumer each month
