What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Health Nurse position at Comprehensive General Nursing Services?
Full time and per diem Occupational Health Nurse local Auto Manufacture ring facility Medical Department Long term assignment RN with experience preferred.
RN Occupational Health Nurse Assignment at Local Auto Manufacturer in Buffalo NY area BSN preferred but will work with associate degree. Independent Nursing assessment skills a must. ED experience a plus. Job entails evaluating and directing medical attention for work related and non -work related injuries and illnesses. Medical Surveillance of employees so they can safely participate in activities in the workplace. Pre-employment exams and screening. Occupational Health experience a plus. NYS License, and BLS required. Certifications in Hearing Conservation, Spirometry, Respirator Fit, BAT, Physical Assessment a plus. (If certified, a cash bonus will be applied). Will train and pay for certifications required to function in this work setting. Will train in OSHA record-keeping. You are provided a safe environment with Company Support to our Medical Department.
Will consider new grad with strong assessment skills and will provide appropriate training for your success.
