- Lead and manage front office staff.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure staff productivity and adherence to established protocols.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and courteously, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the patient.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement office policies, procedures, and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and manage office inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure adequate levels for daily operations.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline processes and enhance overall office performance.
- Liaise with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and other departments to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless communication.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address operational challenges and achieve organizational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proven experience in a medical office setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in medical billing software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance and medical coding.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and customer service.
- High School diploma and/or GED
