Job Summary
Compensation is $900-1000 base pay per day ( depending on experience)or 30% Whichever is higher. 2-4 days per week. Responsibilities
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Administer oral surgery procedures such as dental extractions and manage postoperative care.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety.
- Use dental imaging tools to diagnose issues accurately, including X-rays and other medical imaging techniques.
- Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and other specialties to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation using practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is required; prior experience with dental office software like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical terminology is essential.
- Experience performing pediatric dentistry procedures and oral surgeries is advantageous.
- Familiarity with general dentistry practices including root canal therapy, dental fabrication, prosthodontics, and endodontics is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent patient care while adhering to HIPAA standards for medical records confidentiality.
