What You'll Do
- Assist the doctor chairside during a wide range of procedures
- Set up and break down treatment rooms
- Take dental radiographs
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and CDC compliance
- Provide patient education and post treatment instructions
- Help create a smooth patient flow and positive experience
- Support hygiene when needed
- Manage lab cases and follow up on deliveries
Expanded Functions Responsibilities
- Place and contour composite restorations (per Indiana EFDA guidelines)
- Assist with temporary crowns and restorations
- Take impressions and fabricate temporaries as permitted
- Perform coronal polishing
- Assist with additional expanded duties allowed under Indiana EFDA regulations

- Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) in Indiana
- Dental assisting experience required
