Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate community engagement programs focused on addiction recovery, public health, and social well-being.
- Manage volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and retention efforts to ensure effective program delivery.
- Lead public speaking engagements to raise awareness about addiction counseling, social work initiatives, and health promotion activities.
- Coordinate fundraising efforts and assist with grant writing to support program sustainability.
- Oversee data collection and analysis to monitor program impact and inform strategic planning.
- Manage social media platforms and other marketing channels to promote programs, events, and community resources.
- Collaborate with local organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and community groups to expand outreach efforts.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records related to program activities.
- Support recruitment efforts for new participants and volunteers through outreach campaigns and informational sessions.
Experience
- Proven experience in volunteer management, supervising teams or programs related to social services or public health.
- Strong background in public speaking, program development, project management, marketing, and data collection.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and strategies for community engagement.
- Knowledge of addiction counseling, public health principles, social work practices, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in fundraising or grant writing preferred.
- Prior administrative experience including recruiting or teaching is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
