Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Perfusionist located in Las Vegas, NV. The Staff Perfusionist will be responsible for operating extracorporeal circulation equipment during medical procedures, primarily cardiac surgery. Day-to-day tasks involve collaborating with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes, managing cardiopulmonary bypass, and ensuring the safe administration of medications and blood products. The role also includes maintaining and troubleshooting perfusion equipment and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Perfusion, Cardiopulmonary, and Cardiac Surgery skills
- Experience in Medicine and Surgery
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
- Experience in ECMO and CRRT is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
