Description: This is an opportunity to lead a team in responding first to mental health crises in adults and children within the St. Louis Metro-East area in St. Clair County. Ensure complete crisis assessments are made for all ages using evidence-based tools to determine whether a situation can be stabilized within the community or requires hospitalization for stabilization. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to lead a team of people to accomplish a mission

· Skill in providing diagnostic, preventive, and/or therapeutic services to individuals.

· Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

· Able to use Microsoft Office, electronic health record and other reporting programs.

· Willingness and ability to flex schedule as program needs change.

Primary Duties:

· Ensure your team responds immediately to the location of a behavioral health crisis to screen an individual’s needs and assist the individual in receiving the appropriate level of care.

· Provide guidance by telephone to mobile crisis responders in the field

· Communicate effectively within a team environment to meet the needs of those experiencing behavioral health crises

· Provide brief therapeutic interventions to walk-in individuals in crisis and their families.

· Complete screenings, assessments, and other necessary clinical documentation.

· Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency requirements.

· Ensure that third-party billing is filed timely and accurately.

Reports to: Program Manager Crisis Intervention

Education and Requirements:

· Master’s degree in behavioral health (i.e. social work, counseling, psychology).

· Valid driver’s license

· Obtain and maintain IM CATS, CPI and CPR Certifications

Schedule:

Full-time-12pm-8pm, biweekly rotation (M-F/T-Sat)

We offer shift differential for hours worked during 2nd or 3rd shift time frames. $1/hour second shift & $2/hour for third shift.

We rotate schedules to provide services 24/7/365

Pay: $23.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
