Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Use appropriate assessment instruments and data to include formulated mental health diagnosis.
- Provide family meeting post-diagnosis to discuss findings.
- Complete concise report with clear recommendations for treatment of diagnoses.
- Assessments will be dictated/documented in accordance with State and regulatory requirements as well as within the defined CAC timeframe.
- Communicate with team members, clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client diagnosis/ progress.
- Promote positive public relations, facilitate interagency collaboration, and advocate for the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive services.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Must possess a minimum of a Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work or related Behavioral Health field (PhD or PsyD).
- Ability to pass a Federal / State / County criminal background check.
- Experience administering psychological tests, interpreting such and writing concise reports with clear recommendations.
- Ability to utilize various types of technology (eg iPad, desktop, etc.) for data tracking and documentation.
- Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
- Commitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws.
- Preferred: Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder
Licenses or Certifications:
- Must possess a valid Current California State licensure i.e., PsyD, or PhD.
- Must possess a valid CPR (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification or be able to obtain the certification within 1 month of employment.
- Must be registered as a Licensed Psychologist in California
- Must possess a valid California Driver’s License or obtain within 14 days of employment.
