Role and Responsibilities
- Clerical Support Staff: Greet clients/public, answer telephones, schedule & reschedule appointments. Verify demographic and financial information each visit and update any changes in the practice management system. Collect payments and inform patient of any remaining balances and give receipt of payment to client. Inform clinical staff of patient arrival. Complete daily deposits.
Scan all information with accuracy into the electronic medical record and retrieve reports when requested. Must be knowledgeable of the other programs in the office to be of assistance in the event of an absence. Ability to work independently and as a team as well as demonstrate good communication skills. Assist clients both in the office and on the telephone by scheduling and rescheduling appointments.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School graduate or GED
- Experience with office technology, medical office experience preferred.
- Must be able to satisfactory pass criminal background checks and drug screening.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for periods of time.
- Ability to stoop, squat, etc. for filing.
Special Requirements
- Excellent typing skills, telephone skills, and data entry skills
- High attention to details, great customer service skills, and interpersonal communication
- Occasional travel may be required
