What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Associate (Asheville) position at CompostNow?
Description:
- Pay starts at $20/hr.

Weekly pay.

8 am to 4 pm, 4 days per week (Monday through Friday), ~32 hours total weekly. With opportunity for more hours during holidays and outages.

Operation Associates receive, empty, and sort through containers filled with food scraps.

Operations Associates clean all containers (soaping, washing, rinsing), readying them to be returned to our customers.

Operations Associates support our Hard-to-Recycle (H2R) program by sorting materials, including plastics, separating them into designated recycling streams, and removing and properly disposing of contamination.

Operations Associates open and close the roll-off container each day and ensure that the tipping area is secure.

Operations Associates cross-train to provide occasional (holidays, outages) backup coverage as a delivery driver operating a Sprinter Van.

Additional Operations Associate duties include cleaning work vehicles, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
