Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ogden, UT for an NDT Level 2 Technician. The role involves conducting non-destructive testing using methods such as ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and liquid penetrant testing (PT) to evaluate composite and metallic materials. Responsibilities include interpreting inspection results, preparing detailed reports, performing routine calibration of equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. The candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to execute high-quality inspections while following safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in NDT methods, specifically Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT). NAS 410 rev. 6 Level 2 certification is required.
- Experience in interpreting and evaluating inspection results to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Skill in calibrating and maintaining technical equipment used for non-destructive testing.
- Strong report writing abilities and attention to detail for preparing accurate inspection documentation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and standards within the Aerospace, Space, or Renewable Energy industries.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate findings clearly to colleagues and clients.
- Prior experience within the composites field is highly desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical certifications or degrees are a plus.
- Flexibility to work on-site and occasionally travel for different projects as needed.
