Skills and Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients to realize their vision by creating exceptional composite solutions
- Develop and maintain internal instructions to ensure compliance with customer requirements, safety regulations and quality standards (AS9100)
- Promote a commitment to continuous improvement in all facets of our work
- Reports to Engineering Manager
Attributes for Success:
- Minimum of five (5) years hands-on experience in composite design
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Expertise using Solidworks
- Relevant BS or MS degree
- Represent Composite Approach, as a visible member of the team, in a professional manner consistent with the standards and values of the company
- Motivated to learn, be flexible, and take on new tasks
- Passion for improving process, equipment dependability, and productivity
- Team player who works well in a collaborative environment or independently
- Available normal business hours with occasional weekend/overtime work totaling 40 hours/week
- Familiarity with FEAMAP/NX Nastran or alternative FEA platform desired
- Aerospace systems design experience desired
Compensation:
- Salary: DOE.
