Key Responsibilities
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying part identification numbers listed on work orders.
- Monitors inventory levels and schedules items either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules.
- Coordinates the transfer of raw materials and other parts between CompoSecure facilities.
- Maintains in-process inventory in Kan Bans, Supermarkets, and work centers.
- Conducts cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy (daily, weekly, and monthly counts are performed).
- Provide ideas/insights to refine established procedures to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency, improve quality, and reduce cost.
- Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and evaluating transactions to resolve count discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory variances.
- Identify and escalate as appropriate issues regarding the handling and storage of inventoried items.
- Ensure full adherence to 5S practices at all times.
- Timely Corrective Action response and resolution to relevant project situations
- Engage and support companywide Safety and Cleanliness programs.
- Will be required to perform other job functions, as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Education, Certifications; Associate degree preferred, High School Education a must.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check own work.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Task oriented excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload.
- Enthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, sensitive to client needs, self-motivated, creative, and innovative.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- High level of computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.
