What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Plant Operations position at Component Building Systems, Inc?
Component Building Systems, Inc is a component manufacturer specializing in floor truss systems, framed wood walls, and roof truss systems. We are looking for hard working employees to work in our manufacturing department in Kingsport, TN. The main duties of this job is handling lumber to stage, cut, and assemble our products.
Day Shift starting at 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Past experience and skills that will fit well:
- Ability to perform manual labor
- Experience with or knowledge about construction or carpentry
- Hands on Skills such as ability to hammer, use hand held tools, etc
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Experience in factory related work
- Forklift experience
Physical Requirements for this Position:
- Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours a day
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to maneuver the body (bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling lifting and stepping up and down)
- Ability to use a hammer
- Long hair must be restrained
- Beards must be kept short and trimmed
- No jewelry can be worn

Beginner wages: $13.50-$15.00
This candidate has little to no manufacturing experience but is ready to step into a fast paced, hard working environment and learn new skills.
Intermediate wages: $16.00-$17.50
This candidate has hands on manufacturing experience and is looking for an opportunity to grow and develop their career as well as gain new skills.
Advanced wages: $18 and up
This candidate knows how to get the job done and has great experience with hand tools and manual labor as well as leadership abilities.
Pay: $13.50 - $18.00 per hour
