Job Summary
Compliance Safety Supply is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, engaging prospective customers, and driving sales growth across our rental, sales, and service divisions. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a strong understanding of managing a sales lifecycle.
Experience selling safety equipment or EHS services is preferred (training on our specific product lines and service offerings will be provided). If you have a passion for customer service, problem-solving, and consultative sales, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with inbound customer inquiries and digital leads generated through marketing campaigns.
- Conduct outbound calls (warm and cold) to prospective customers in various industries including construction, healthcare, energy, and manufacturing.
- Use Salesforce CRM and other software tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to refine outreach strategies and support lead generation initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS equipment, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
- Provide exceptional service by answering product questions, preparing quotes, and following up with clients.
- Build and nurture long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inside sales, business development, or telemarketing, ideally within safety, industrial, or technical equipment sectors.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and articulate safety product features and applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with a track record of achieving or exceeding goals.
- Customer-first mindset and a commitment to delivering professional, solutions-based service.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
