Position Summary
Lumelight is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales organization by reducing administrative burden on revenue-producing team members.
This role is responsible for conducting core sales support activities that help opportunities move efficiently through the sales process, improve internal responsiveness, and allow Sales team members to focus more of their time on prospecting, relationship-building, and closing business.
Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, the Sales Support Specialist serves as a key operational partner by supporting proposal generation, sales documentation, CRM accuracy, opportunity follow-up, and administrative sales coordination.
Duties & Responsibilities
Opportunity & Sales Process Support
- Respond promptly to sales support requests and administrative inquiries from assigned sales team members
- Prepare and coordinate sales proposals/quotes
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding proposals to help maintain opportunity momentum
- Coordinate internal and external communication and documentation needed to support active sales opportunities
- Provide contract status inquiries and escalate resolution as needed via utilization of contracting software system
- Cross-train and support other sales support staff as needed
- Participate in sales operations process improvement initiatives and projects
- Help identify administrative bottlenecks or workflow inefficiencies impacting sales productivity
CRM & Sales Administration
- Ensure opportunity records, activity tracking, and other documentation is updated in a timely and accurate manner
- Support pipeline visibility and reporting accuracy by maintaining strong CRM data hygiene
- Generates reports and participates in reoccurring team meetings
Qualifications

Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in sales support, sales administration, sales operations, or a related role
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience within healthcare benefits, insurance brokerage, or related industries is preferred but not required
Work Environment:
This position is a remote position within approved Lumelight states. This job operates in a professional office environment, whether in person or remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Equipment will be provided to you.
