Role Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced Bookkeeper / HR professional who can manage both company finances and employee-related HR functions. This individual will play a critical role in keeping our books accurate, our team supported, and our company compliant and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Finance
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Record and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks.
- Ensure bills, rent, and other expenses are paid on time.
- Manage payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare financial reports and maintain up-to-date records.
- Call customers to follow up on balances due and assist with collections.
Human Resources
- Handle employee onboarding, paperwork, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee files and records.
- Assist with scheduling, time-off requests, and HR policies.
- Provide support to employees and management on HR-related matters.
- Help create a positive, professional, and organized workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and HR.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks (required).
- Excellent organizational, follow-up, and multitasking skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented personality.
