What are the responsibilities and job description for the Popcorn Popper position at Complex Community Federal Credit Union?
This position is responsible for popping our famous butter and caramel popcorn at one of our larger branches every Friday in Odessa, TX. We are known for our popcorn at each of our branches, our members look forward to it every week. Our marketing team also takes popcorn out into the communities for events throughout the year! This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a little extra income!
- Fridays only**
- 8am-5pm
- This gives set up/start popping and tear down/clean up time
- They are responsible for:
- popping butter and caramel popcorn
- maintaining the stock
- cleaning the work station
- cleaning the poppers
- communicating with manager for inventory
- They also need to be welcoming and friendly with members and team members
- Be willing to receive help and ask for help from team members at the branch
- Be able to stand for most of the day
- Also being able to lift oil jugs (about the size of a milk gallon)
- Communication is a key factor for this position
- Being on time is a must
**Every once in a while, marketing has events that may need an extra person to pop popcorn or to pre pop popcorn for larger events, so to be willing to come in with notice to help if available.**
