The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT's only) to join our family of world-class healthcare professionals on a part time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for integrative care, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. As a Physical Therapist at Complete Wellness, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing physical therapy programs for patients using an integrative approach.

What You’ll Do:

• Evaluate and treat patients with injuries (acute and chronic), post-surgical, disabilities, and/or diseases using physical and mechanical means in accordance with prescribed and/or referral of a state licensed physician.
• Maintain complete medical records for patients, utilizes evaluation techniques with accuracy/efficiency and design treatment programs to achieve established goals, (i.e., therapeutic exercises, functional training).
• Observe patient tolerance and/or status during treatment and demonstrate the ability to modify a treatment program as needed.
• Work with patients to develop home exercise programs and provide instruction on proper form and technique
• Complete required documentation in accordance with the policies and procedures of the clinic.
• Re-evaluate patients periodically to determine progress and documents appropriately.
• Participate in quality improvement chart reviews and activities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities to stay current in the field.
• Work cross-functionally with other clinical team members to collaborate on patient care, including participation in interdisciplinary treatment planning and team meetings.

What You’ll Need:

• A current New York State license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Good organizational, observation, communication, and judgment skills
• Clinical experience working one-on-one with individuals
• Willingness to learn and implement new techniques and treatment protocols
