Position Summary
The Associate Sales Representative supports the sales team by assisting with lead generation, customer communication, and basic account activities. In this role, the Associate Rep will learn sales processes, develop product knowledge, and gain hands-on experience. This is an entry-level position designed for someone eager to grow into a full sales role.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with an assigned Senior Sales Representative to learn sales strategies,
customer management, and product knowledge.
- Support the Senior Rep in preparing quotes, presentations, and follow-up
communications.
- Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through outreach and research.
- Join customer calls, meetings, and site visits to observe and assist the sales process.
- Maintain accurate and organized customer records in the customer relationship
management (CRM) system.
- Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth account management.
- Meet assigned activity metrics and support overall sales goals.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of sales or customer service experience (internships welcome).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Coachable, motivated, and eager to learn from senior team members.
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or CRM tools.
