Hours:

• Monday – Friday  7:00am – 5:00pm (Flexible start time), 

Position Duties:

• Financial Close and Reporting Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate classification of financial activity.
• Review balance sheet accounts and ensure reconciling items are resolved timely.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead preparation of documentation, schedules, and responses for the annual financial review.
• Support sales/use tax filings, corporate registrations, and other compliance-related activities.
• Support inventory accounting, inventory reconciliations, inventory reporting, and inventory-related financial analysis as needed.
• Partner with the Cost Accountant on overhead rate development, inventory reporting, manufacturing cost analysis, variance review, and related manufacturing accounting activities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting as needed.
• Identify opportunities to streamline the monthly close and improve accounting processes.
• Support system upgrades, ERP improvements, reporting enhancements, and automation initiatives.
• Help document accounting policies, procedures, reconciliations, and internal control processes.
• Recommend improvements to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and strengthen financial controls.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems required.
• Experience with month-end close, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, fixed assets, and audit/review support.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.

Pay Rate:

• $36 / Hour
