Responsibilities:
- Consult with Facility Manager concerning assignments.
- Keep manager informed of activities, issues, and problems that may arise within the facility.
- Perform a variety of general and preventative maintenance, repairs, overhaul, and construction duties within the facility and grounds in a timely manner.
- Receive assignments and work orders.
- Review work orders for priority status and designated time schedules.
- Follow manufacturer’s instructions and specifications in the operation, repair, and maintenance of systems, equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
- Perform general carpentry work including, but not limited to the installation and/or repair of suspended ceilings, drywall, woodwork, furniture, doors, windows, walls, flooring ceramic tiles, roofs, fences etc.
- Complete “minor” electrical work, including, but not limited to the installation and/or repair of fixtures, resetting of breakers, replacement of fuses, replacement of hard to reach or complicated light bulbs, resetting of alarms, pulling of electrical, data, telephone, audio/visual wires, etc., where a licensed master electrician is not required by law.
- Prepare repairs and paint walls, ceilings, floors, etc., both inside and outside.
Salary : $22 - $25
