Location: Greenville, NC 27834 (employee parking available)

Compensation: $115,000-$135,000 per year depending on experience, with potential up to $150,000 for candidates with 10 years of experience. $5,000 sign-on bonus! 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 24-hour call two times per week.

Patient Volume: 18-25 patients daily

Relocation: Open to candidates relocating to the area, with relocation expense assistance available. This can be discussed during the interview.

Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Nurse Midwife to join our growing private obstetrics and gynecology practice. The CNM will provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and high-quality care for women across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive prenatal visits and provide education and counseling to expectant mothers and families.
• Provide labor and delivery care, including attendance at vaginal births and support for natural and low-intervention birth experiences.
• Manage postpartum care, including lactation support and follow-up assessments.
• Perform routine gynecologic exams, family planning counseling, contraceptive management, and menopause care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and ultrasounds within scope of practice.
• Maintain thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Participate in rotating call coverage, including nights and weekends.
• Provide patient-centered care in alignment with practice philosophy and standards.
• Collaborate with OB-GYN physicians, nurses, and office staff for seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program required.
• Current and unrestricted RN license required.
• National certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board required.
• Current BLS and NRP certification (or ability to obtain).
• Recent delivery experience desired.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of midwifery experience preferred; open to candidates who have 6-8 months of experience as well.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a private practice setting.
