What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Maintenance Tech position at Complete Staffing Solutions?
We have partnered with a 40 year old Regional Property Management company who is looking for additional Maintenance help for a 200 unit Market rate, Garden style apartment complex in Enfield.
Pay is 22-23/hour with a schedule of 8am – 5pm M-F
Must pass background check and drug screen.
1 years experience working in apartment maintenance (apartment turnovers and maintenance orders)
Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
Diagnose and make repairs in such areas as, but not limited to: appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.
Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status in accordance to company standards.
Maintain grounds and curb appeal through landscaping and trash management activities.
Complete all resident and site work orders in a timely manner.
Perform on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule.
Requirements
1-3 years of relevant work experience.
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and/or carpentry.
Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability for on-call activity every 3 weeks.
Ability to speak and understand basic English.
Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and be presentable with great customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational or technical training.
Experience with boilers.
CAMT certification.

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
