We are looking for professional and polished detail - oriented Doctor's Scheduler to coordinate and manage appointment scheduling for a dental office here in Lake Charles. The ideal candidate will have STRONG administrative skills, knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems, and excellent communication abilities. As a key member of the health team the Scheduler will ensure efficient appointment flow, accurate documentation, and seamless patient service contributing to optimal clinic operations and patient satisfaction.
Duties :
Schedule Patients
Verify insurance
manage medical records and documentation
Coordinate with the clinical staff to optimize daily Schedules
Assit with patient's intake process, collecting information and updating charts
Provide excellent customer service
Support medical billing and activities through knowledge of CPT, coding ICD - 9/10Medicare requirements and health insurance procedures.
Experience:
Proven experience in medical office or health care admin
Demonstrated ability to handle a multi-line phone, with good etiquette and communication skills
Prior dental or medical clinic experience is
Bilingual skills are a plus
Knowledge of HIPPA compliance Standards and polices.
Salary : $15 - $22
