Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift (Leeds, AL)
Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM
Up to Pay: $35/hr ( DOE)
Requirements
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to understand the company’s operations and expectations before applying
- High school diploma required
- Real‑world problem‑solving experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Must be able to train, coach, and guide hourly employees
- Comfortable handling disciplinary actions, labor relations, and cross‑team coordination
Preferred:
- BS Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience writing/revising procedures, work instructions, forms, and visual aids
- ISO 9001 QMS experience, SAP experience, welding experience

What You’ll Do
- Lead production teams to hit daily goals in safety, quality, service, and productivity
- Direct lead persons and assign work to hourly employees
- Ensure workforce flexibility and proper training
- Handle disciplinary actions, enforce work rules, and coordinate with other supervisors
- Maintain data and reports using Excel, Access, and other Microsoft applications
- Support continuous improvement efforts to boost productivity and reduce costs
