Job Summary
Complete Quality is seeking for dedicated and reliable General Laborers/Material Handlers to provide warehouse support services under contract for our Envision Cold warehouse located in San Francisco, CA. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure smooth and safe distribution processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience with warehouse management systems. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are paramount.
**MUST be available to start as soon as Saturday 5/30/26**
Schedule:
Monday - Friday (Mandatory weekends as needed), 6AM - 2:30PM or until finish
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION!
Compensation: Approx. $21.00 Hourly| Paid weekly via 1099
Duties
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes, ensuring safe handling of heavy materials.
- Pick and prepare orders accurately utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer requests efficiently.
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical safety and report any maintenance needs.
- Organize warehouse space by stacking pallets, sorting materials, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Support construction-related tasks as needed, including material transportation and site preparation.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize inventory control and improve operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all material handling activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, or related roles.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and crane operation.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic equipment issues.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of construction materials handling is a plus.
- Prior warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
