What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Team Member position at Complete Lawn & Landscape?
Job Summary
We are searching for a motivated, hardworking person who is looking employment in landscaping.
You will be responsible for cultivating and caring for the landscaping surrounding businesses and homes in the greater Redding area. Position includes mowing, blowing, edging, trimming, and more to maintain the properties on the maintenance route.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Mow lawns with a push lawn mower (self-propelled), and riding mower
- Edge lawn around sidewalks, flower beds, retaining walls, etc.
- Trim bushes, trees, and other shrubs in a visually appealing way
- Rake and clean up leaves
- Perform irrigation check ups (adjust sprinklers and timer boxes)
- Blow off walkways and hardscapes leaving a clean landscape
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Knowledge and experience in using landscape maintenance equipment (ie. lawnmower, string trimmer, hedge trimmer,
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and detailed oriented.
- Must be professional in appearance and actions.
Physical Requirements include the ability to walk, kneel, crouch, ascend/descend ladders, operate machinery, lift over 50 lbs, and constantly work in the outdoors and all weather conditions including (but not limited to) rain and extreme heat
Experience is not required but it is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
