PART TIME REGISTERED NURSE
Position Summary
The Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for clinical oversight, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with homecare regulations for a non-skilled homecare agency. This role supports field RNs and ensures high-quality client care through proper documentation, communication, and supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Orientation & Training
- Conduct orientation for newly hired Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to clinical staff as needed
- Staff Supervision & Scheduling
- Supervise RNs and provide direct oversight of their schedules within the Home Health Aide (HHA) program
- Coordinate and manage RN caseload distribution, including assignment of new clients based on workload and availability
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
Oversee compliance with required:
- Initial client assessments
- Monthly calls
- Supervisory visits
- Ensure all required visits and communications are completed within mandated timeframes Documentation Oversight Ensure client documentation is:
- Accurate and complete
- Uploaded to OneDrive in a timely manner
- Compliant with agency policies and regulatory requirements
Clinical Support
- Be available by phone during scheduled office hours to address RN-related questions and concerns
- Provide clinical guidance and problem-solving support to field staff
Schedule:
- Part-time, 20 hours per week
- 3 days per week, 6.5 hours per day
- Office hours between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Client Care Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments, monthly calls, and supervisory visits as needed during assigned office hours
Pay: $36.00 per hour
