About the Role
Complete Healthcare is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support both the clinical and administrative needs of our medical office. You'll work closely with physicians, staff, and patients to provide high-quality, compassionate care while helping keep the office running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner.
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs.
- Prepare exam rooms by stocking supplies and organizing equipment.
- Help maintain clean, safe waiting and examination areas.
- Answer phones and assist with patient communication.
- File, scan, and organize medical records and other documents.
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance information.
- Accurately update electronic health records (EHR).
- Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with providers and coworkers to deliver excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Medical Assistant or similar healthcare role preferred.
- Ability to take and document vital signs and patient histories.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR), Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to maintaining patient confidentiality.
