Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in Primary Care and Family Medicine, with experience managing a broad range of adult and geriatric health conditions.
- Ability to provide timely Urgent Care within the primary care setting, including evaluation and treatment of acute illnesses and minor emergencies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general Medicine principles and evidence-based guidelines relevant to primary care practice.
- Experience working as a Primary Care Physician in outpatient settings, with focus on continuity of care and preventive services.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of Alabama (or eligibility to obtain) and Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and comfort working in a technology-enabled, value-based care environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient-centered, culturally sensitive care.
