Pay Rate Range: $24.00-26.00/hour

Summary of action:  

We’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically minded Service Technician who’s ready to learn the ropes and grow with our company. You don’t need years of experience, but you do need to bring a strong work ethic, basic tool knowledge, and the “figure-it-out” mindset. You’ll be assisting with everything from trenching and conduit work to wire pulling, fence repairs, and basic equipment programming. 
 

What You’ll Do (Essential Functions): 

• Assist with the installation and maintenance of fence and gate systems 

• Learn basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting under mentorship 

• Support trenching, conduit installation, and mounting of access control equipment 

• Help pour and set concrete foundations for operators 

• Pull wire and help with low-voltage electrical tasks 

• Perform general fence repairs and adjustments 

• Follow all safety protocols and learn OSHA standards 

• Apply feedback and continuously develop your skills

• Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools  

• A willingness to work hard and get your hands dirty 

• Physically able to lift, bend, dig, and work outdoors in all weather 

• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation 

• Flexible with hours and willing to travel to job sites 

• Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn 

• A team player who takes initiative and solves problems on the go

• Work Environment and physical demands: Work is performed in a fabrication shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role involves exposure to welding fumes, loud noises, hot materials, and moving equipment. Safety protocols and PPE are required at all times.
